I'm not sure that leaving this plug active during the mix is a good thing to do, though. First of all, it's a CPU and RAM hog. Even at 2048 as my buffer setting, using it as an actual active insert point processor is dragging things down quite a bit.I'm more interested in the measurement function of it, letting it analyze the material and then making corresponding adjustments on my own using my own EQ - like's 116EQ, or FFT, for example. In that regard, this might prove useful to either to my monitor EQ, or as a starting point for standard equalization of individual tracks and/or sub buses.But. I don't think that leaving it on and active would be the way to go, as the correction might be constantly changing the EQ to compensate, and that would be a real headache.I just can't say yet for sure. And because this processor is so new, there isn't a whole lot onf instructional material available yet.And. At $399 Euro. I don't think it's very likely that we will see a huge proportion of home recording studios running out to buy it right away, either.
It's pretty pricey to actually purchase.
